The beginning of the firm as it it is now organized occurred in 1984 when a number of former partners left, and David Rider and Elliott Weiner formed the present firm, then named Rider, Weiner, Lewis & Melchiori. Since then, the name has changed a few times to the current Rider, Weiner & Frankel, P.C., and now has six partners, a total of fifteen attorneys, five paralegals, and a total staff of more than thirty people.

Over the past twenty years the firm has developed substantial expertise in municipal law representing the largest municipality in Orange County, and has attorneys who focus on corporate and commercial transactions, land development and transactions, medical services and delivery, environmental law, estate planning and administration, litigation in State and Federal Courts, and before governmental agencies.
